Affinity provides a range of reporting and analysis tools, from a basic filtering and listing tool within Manager Self Service to comprehensive query and modelling tools for those who have a requirement for in-depth information and analysis.

Affinity reporting toolsets include;
  • Standard Reports – Over 400 standard reports with multiple formats, deployment and archive options.
  • Query Manager – Quick point and click selection of any data in the system then optionally use our report writer or one-click to drop the selected data into an Excel spreadsheet.
  • Payroll Analyst – Get to those financial figures and identify trends, produce graphs all with an easy four step process that requires no expertise to use it.
  • Headcount Wizard – Within seconds, produce Headcount, FTE, Absence, Turnover statistics in several standard reports or into Excel. With another click dissect and group this information by Position, Department, Cost Centre, Division, Location, etc.
  • myPA – Trigger reporting within emails whenever an event occurs to remind, escalate or start workflow.

When and Where Needed

Reports can be accessed from the core application, Manager Self Service or delivered electronically via email or File Transfer Protocol (FTP). Reports may be run manually, on request, scheduled to run at regular intervals or triggered to run on an event (e.g. running of payroll, end of Accounting month, etc). Output options include, viewed on screen, in graphical form, printed hard copy, email attachment or selected from stored reports on-line.

Report Formats

There are many standard options for report formats including printed, PDF, Excel worksheet, Letter/mail merge, Graphs, CSV, HTML, and XML.

Easy to Use

Affinity reporting toolsets are designed to be easy to use, as we use the principle for data selection of "what you see is what you get". This means that the users do not need complex training to obtain information. Even when not exposed to the toolsets for a prolonged period of time users find report creation simplistic. The combination of wizards, categories and templates make it easy and quick to point, click or drag data, or move a selection of data from database to Excel or any other chosen format.

Security

With the Affinity reporting toolsets you'll never have to worry about the security of sensitive information. The security profile of the user is checked to ensure they can run the report and what data they are permitted to view. If for example the user is restricted to managing certain cost centres, then only the employees in these cost centres appear on their reports.
