Training and Development Overview

The Affinity Training and Development module reduces administration time and allows you to get more from your employee learning and development programs. Administer and plan employee training to provide your people with the skills they need to be successful. As your company’s business strategies evolve along with new skill sets/competency requirements, the training module is one of the tools that will help your organisation adapt and manage change.

Identifying Training Needs
 

Track the individual's learning and development, including participation in single and multiple training events. Training can be identified from ongoing development interventions and appraisal/performance reviews. Training can also be linked to positions/jobs and workplace requirements such as hazards. The placement of an employee at a particular location or allocation of specific job/function will automatically update their required training profile and provide the appropriate notifications/workflow to managers and employees.

Managing Training Courses

Create internal and external courses, standard courses and ad-hoc courses. Keep records of trainers and training providers including contact details, events they have run for you, feedback/assessments of trainers and training costs. You can also manage wait lists and forecast requirements.

Support Workflow

Incorporate workflow that provides pre and post email reminders of pending events or pre-requirement tasks. These could include any logistical matters, sending out of pre-course documents, etc. These reminders can be course or delegate specific.
